Mike Pachelli started playing guitar at age 10 in his hometown of Youngstown, Ohio. He studied classical guitar at YSU and then moved to New York City to study bebop. Mike's guitar style is an amalgamation of jazz, rock, blues, and neo-classical. He has a wealth of musical experience gained thru years of night clubs, concert halls, and recording studios.
He's gigged and/or studied with the most eclectic including organist Jack McDuff, guitar luminaries Joe Pass and Pat Martino, big band greats Les and Larry Elgart, and pianists Ferrante and Teicher among others. But Mike claims that what has given him the most musical clarity is his unyielding faith in the Lord and realization that all talent comes from and should be used for the glory of God. |
